Claire Cohan is an innovative, dynamic product designer.

With experience designing in the Fashion Industry in New York City, Claire is equipped with the knowledge and capabilities required to succeed in any competitive environment. She is very capable in areas of product design from her history working with garment production, following the product life cycle development from the beginning design stages through execution and delivery of goods and services.

User experience associated with how customers interact with fashion products is at the core of fashion design. With a focus on UX and product design, Claire has honed in her attention to detail regarding how clientele enjoy the comfort and style of living the day-to-day in her designs.

Market segmentation, key demographics, and trend research make up a large portion of the development of any product, especially fashion products. During her time as a fashion designer, Claire exercised her business skills in these areas, extrapolating key performance indicators in order to design the best possible products for customers.

Adapting to prior companies brand identities while maintaining an individualized, creative mindset has aided Claire in becoming a highly valued member of any team she is working with. As a problem solver, taking a wholistic view and breaking down the details to get to an agreeable solution makes Claire stand out from other design thinkers.

During her undergraduate time at Arizona State University’s Herberger Institute for Design and the Arts Fashion Program, Claire was a lead designer in three fashion shows and a top performing student, as well as a teaching assistant in multiple design classes.

She collaborated with the film school as the focal point of two short films. Her collaborative “Stained Glass” film placed first for student productions in the 2022 competition for “Fash Film Fete”, a fashion film festival, hosted at the Phoenix Art Museum.

Claire is published on the cover of “Horizont” fashion and beauty magazine’s No. 22 Vol. 8 edition for her collection “Wearing the Cathedral” in collaboration with well renowned fashion photographer, Rielle Oase.

Collaboration across interdisciplinary creative industries is very important to Claire and her growth as a Creative.

Fashion Film

Claire partnered with peers from the School of Film at ASU to produce two short films covering her process for her Stained Glass collection.
